In honor of the Oscars this weekend, I thought a little glam was in order! Learn to sew a foldover clutch in this beginner sewing class. See more here.
Also, new to the shop is this super exciting "Style Your Room" camp for Spring Break!
This class is for kids ages 8 and up. Aspiring sewists will learn the basics of sewing as they design a personalized collection of room accessories. Students will learn to coordinate a color palette that expresses their own personal aesthetic. Making handmade items teaches kids the value of hard work and patience. These young sewists will gain self confidence by learning a skill and creating something that they love. Students will learn the basic skills needed to do many things such as sewing a seam, measuring and cutting, planning for seams allowances, and sewing in a lining. Find out what they'll make here.
The dates will be March 26th-28th. There will be two available time slots: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm.
