This midweight cotton is from Amy Butler's newest line called Belle. I love the splash of fuchsia on the olive green background.
The Staple Dress Pattern just arrived (in paper format) from April Rhodes, and I have to say, I love it. I made the one you see above. I'm offering this as a class for Adults or Teens - wouldn't it be great as a mom + daughter sewing experience?! The photo below is of my eager little 13 year old students (twin sisters, btw) who each made their own unique versions of this dress- these girls are seriously adorable. BTW- this is definitely a beginner pattern!
We just got a bunch of new knits- lots of summery stripes fit for maxi skirts, tees and more! I particularly love the grey and white and navy and white stripes toward the top- these are jacquard and the white is like a crocheted eyelet. Love it!!
This is a terrible photo (you'll just have to come in... hee hee), but the knit on the top left is ivory with gold pin dots. It's really sweet. And the top right is a buttery mustard color stripe.
These ribbing fabrics are gorgeous. The one on top is navy, the one on the bottom is a chartreuse-ish yellow. They both have lovely sheen as they are a cotton modal blend. I'm thinking a knit pencil skirt might be super sassy.... What do you think?!
Annnnnd, who doesn't like a gray chevron?! Baby blankets, maxi dresses...
And the moment we've all been waiting for.... Briar Rose!! There are bright greens, lavenders, deep purples, and corals, strawberries, clover, crickets, and frogs- you really must see them in person! Come out and see us this week!
xoxo, the Finch
