More info - We'll be sipping in style at the beautiful Catoctin Creek Distilling Company in Purcellville, Va. You'll be learning a really beautiful Japanese hand embroidery technique called Sashiko. True to Japanese design, Sashiko is beautiful in its simplicity yet remarkably simple to complete- you're going to be addicted! Let me tell you about Catoctin Creek: With one whole wall of windows, we'll be sure to have plenty of beautiful light for a very cool project. Catoctin Creek® Distilling Company was founded by Becky and Scott Harris in 2009 as the first legal distillery in Loudoun County since before Prohibition. Catoctin Creek is all about high quality food and spirits. Organic means higher quality: grain and fruit, sourced locally when possible, free of pesticides and chemical additives that would come through in the spirits produced. Tastings of their finest concoctions will be available to us all evening, and everyone is welcome to buy bottles to bring home to the mister as well (let's be honest, it's really for me... ). :)
Join us for some fabulous whiskey and a great time with kindred spirits!! 120 W Main St Purcellville, VA 20132
So here's what arrived yesterday:
From top to bottom: the first two are Bamboo and Organic Cotton knit jerseys (I just made a Moneta out of the white one and wore it twice over the last 4 days- super comfy...), the bottom fabric is Palos Verdes Voile "La Venta" - another Organic Cotton from Cloud9. We ran out of this pretty quickly the first time we stocked it, so we're happy to have it back!
These are both from the new line by Bari J called Emmy Grace. I fell in love with these prints on paper, and they're even more amazing on fabric. The top one is a voile (don't those colors just sing?!), and the bottom is one of the new knits from Art Gallery. This knit is awesome!
These two are also from the new line by Bari J for Art Gallery Fabrics. Both are quilting weight. Aren't those little fishing girls cute?!
Last but not least- the biggest shipment we have coming today is the new Limited Edition line from Art Gallery Fabrics by April Rhodes. So to kick things off, we'll be having a little release party all day (Wednesday till 9pm). Come have a glass of champagne, and pet the lovely cotton... :) There's still a little left in my online shop- get it while you can (we'll have all of it in the brick and mortar store).
See you tonight!
