We at Finch know that so many of you out there are pouring over Pinterest for place settings ideas, stuffing recipes, and how to cook the perfect turkey. And in case you are looking for an easy and quick place card setting for your table using scraps of yarn or fabric laying around, then here you go!
Materials Needed: - Determination - Paper Cutter (Scissors are fine) - Hole Punch - Card Stock - Scraps (Yarn, ribbon, ricrac, selvages, fabric, etc.) - A Pen of Your Liking
Cut how ever many place cards you need into 4-inch x 5-inch rectangles, and fold whatever which way you would like.
You can punch just one side or both. There is a method to my madness...
Use whatever scrap material you prefer, and then tie a bow! The reason I punched through all layers of the card stock is so the place card would have a stiffer stand, and to add decoration to the other side of the card too. While at your Thanksgiving table, you can encourage your guests to write what they are thankful on the blank side! What a great conversation starter too while the Pumpkin Pie passes around the table.
Happy Thanksgiving :)
