On the Third Day of Finchmas, the Finchies gave to me….
...Christmas Fabric for all kinds of sewing projects!
Have you seen Colette's newest pattern, the Wren? We think this Knit fabric for Version 1 is great for Christmas parties or a New Year's bash. It's champagne color and subtle texture make it really special, and what's even better is fabric is stretchy! It will be a super comfortable statement piece!
Looking for something with shimmer and sparkle? We've got you covered. This sequin fabric would be great in either the Tiny Pocket Tank or Scout Tee - both of these sewing patterns are super quick and are by Grainline Studio. Remember the samples Nicole made last year pictured below?
The Liberty print in the top right would be Adorable! Or any of the many plaid options would be fantastic! Pair this Scout Tee or Tiny Pocket Tank with black skinny jeans, some cute flats, and you've got both comfort and style while you are rocking around that Christmas tree.
Underneath the flannel is Tinsel in Quilting Cotton perfect for Holiday pillows, stockings, a tree skirt and quilts.
Remember, just because it is Christmas, doesn't mean you have to use only Christmas fabrics. When you come in the shop, take a look- we have coordinates mixed in with our Christmas fabric to give you more options for all your holiday sewing adventures.
We have stacks in reds, greens, teals, and golds to help you on your merry way to making!
You girls were looking fabulous at Ladies Night last Friday. Wasn't it a blast? For those of you who couldn't make it, here's the letter to Santa we made!
The letters to Santa featured Bernina's Paintwork Software on the 790. That green Christmas tree? Yes, that is drawn on by a marker that hooks up to a BERNINA foot. So not only can Bernina 790's (and 770's) embroider, but they can draw out embroidery patterns with the Paintwork Software. Amazing!! I am brainstorming Valentine projects as I type this :) Get in to Finch this week for an equally amazing deal on all the BERNINAs, but especially the 700 and 800 series machines.
Oh, and a little birdie told me to tell you to keep this fabric post in mind; we have a great sewing tutorial coming Monday!
That is all for now! See you soon.
