On the Second Day of Finchmas, the Finchettes gave to me... The Thankful Tree.
With the holiday season upon us, we hope you'll join us in taking a moment to give space to what you are most thankful for.... This has become a tradition for us here at Finch, and it is such a joy to take out the tree and read what others have written in past years. When you stop in at Finch this week, please take a moment to add what you're thankful for to our already growing tree.
This tradition comes from head Finchette, Nicole's family tradition... Each year, we set out thankful cards for family members and friends to anonymously write what they are thankful for. This makes for a very special moment during Thanksgiving dinner where guests take turns reading and guessing who was the author of each thankful card.
Interested in making your very own Thankful Tree? It is easy! All you will need is a vase, branches, cardstock, and 1 skein of Kestrel yarn by Quince & Co.
Stay tuned for the Third Day of Finchmas!! We have something crafty planned. So grab that serger/sewing machine!
