Cocoknits Method Sweater

Service Description

Level: Intermediate Cocoknits is a brilliant system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. Once you learn the method, you’ll be able to knit any of the 20-plus Cocoknits patterns, and you might even find yourself applying the methods to other patterns. Because all Cocoknits patterns start with the same top-down construction, students can choose to make any one of them. We’ll all cast on together and then follow our individual paths to make the sweater, cardi, or top of our dreams. Want help picking your pattern/yarn and/or learning how to swatch and make gauge? Join us on August 1st for a Cocoknits Themed Knit Night. Skills covered in class: Sweater Construction Cocoknits method Knitting in-the-round Picking up stitches Increases/decreases Dividing for sleeves Magic loop method for small-circumference knitting Stretchy bind-offs Weaving-in ends Students will have knitting to do between classes. In addition, prior to the first class, students will need to swatch to match gauge and have their yarn/needles/supplies ready to go. (Does swatching scare you? No worries! Join us at Knit Night on August 1st to learn how easy and…. yes… FUN it can be! Because, hey, with a glass of wine, what’s NOT more fun?!?) Please note, all FINCH Classes are designed with an adult student in mind unless specifically stated in the class description.  We ask that you only register for this class if you are 18 or older. Cancellation Policy

CLASS + EVENT POLICIES (In-person and Online)* • Full payment is due upon signing up for a class, whether in-person or online. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, the spot is not held until payment has been made. • 100% of class fees are refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the class, whether in-person or online. • There is NO REFUND or TRANSFER to another class if upon cancellation LESS THAN 72 HOURS OF NOTICE IS GIVEN before the start date of the class, whether in-person or online. Sorry, we are unable to make exceptions. This ensures that other students waiting for a seat in full classes are not missing learning opportunities due to late cancellations. • No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange. *EXCLUDES RETREATS- See Retreat listing for specific policies.
